Welcome to Stanton Landing, a quiet gated community ideally located on the scenic Intracoastal Waterway in Beaufort, North Carolina. The beautiful homes that adorn the community are unique in design, yet share the commonalities of large porches to watch the magnificent yachts pass just feet from the shore and low country architecture that acknowledges the history of the area. The private streets are bustling with neighbors walking their dogs, children riding their bikes, and of course, our fishermen sharing stories of their latest record-breaking catches hooked right off our docks. This community is minutes from historic Beaufort and the Atlantic Ocean, yet seems like a destination of its own.
The Stanton Landing shores were originally inhabited by the Coree Indians from which the name Core Creek, the locals’ affectionate name for the area, was derived. In 1721 Henry Stanton, a prominent Quaker minister from Rhode Island settled on Core Creek’s eastern shore where Stanton Landing is located today. Core Creek eventually became part of the Intracoastal Waterway and with that came the yachts that traverse the waterway in route from New England to the Bahama Islands each fall and their return trip each spring. The parade of these yachts makes for a spectacular view that is only exceeded by our quick and easy access to some of the best beaches and fishing spots on the east coast.
With its rich history and incomparable setting, Stanton Landing will charm you. This single-family, waterfront community lies on the deep protected waters of the Intracoastal Waterway providing a safe shelter from coastal storms. Here you will find privacy and tranquility yet will only be minutes from all the wonderful activities the Crystal Coast has to offer! Stanton Landing’s thorough covenants and architectural oversight will ensure the beauty and value of your home will only increase over time and will guarantee leaving this gorgeous area is practically impossible.
