Welcome to Stanton Landing!

Welcome to Stanton Landing, a quiet gated community ideally located on the banks of Core Creek and the scenic Intracoastal Waterway in Beaufort, North Carolina. These shores were originally inhabited by the Coree Indians from which the name Core Creek was derived.

In 1721 Henry Stanton, a prominent Quaker minister from Rhode Island settled on Core Creek’s eastern shore where Stanton Landing is located today. Core Creek became a part of the Intracoastal Waterway in 1911 with the completion of the “Ditch”, a five mile canal that connected it to Adam's Creek and the Neuse River.

Today Stanton Landing not only has scenic views but is within close proximity to Historic Beaufort by the Sea, North Carolinas third oldest town. Incorporated in 1722, Beaufort has maintained the beauty of 18th and 19th century Carolina. Quaint and charming, its 12 blocks of historic buildings are on The National Registry of Historic Places and in the hearts of anyone who visits.

With its rich history and incomparable setting, Stanton landing will not fail to charm you. This gated single family waterfront community lies on the deep protected waters of the Intracoastal Waterway providing a safe shelter from coastal storms.
